Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AssetFix.me (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

Important: These Terms are an agreement between you and the Provider (AssetFixMe), not with Apple, Google, or any other platform provider. Platform providers are not responsible for the Service and do not provide support for it. Support is provided via support@assetfix.me.

2. Free Beta Service

AssetFix.me is currently offered as a free beta. Features may change, be removed, or be added at any time. The Service may be unstable, unavailable, or contain bugs. We may reset, migrate, or modify data structures during development.

During beta, you should not rely on the Service for critical or safety-related operations and you should keep your own backups of important information.

3. Accounts, Tenants, and Roles

The Service is organized by Tenants (organizations). Users may be assigned roles (e.g., Owner, Manager, Technician) that define access and permissions. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Customer Data and User Content

“Customer Data” includes any data you or your users submit, such as asset data, service requests, tasks, comments, and uploaded files/photos (“User Content”). You retain ownership of Customer Data. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data only as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

You confirm you have the rights and lawful basis to upload Customer Data, including photos of individuals or private property. You must not upload unlawful content or content that infringes privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.

We may remove or restrict access to User Content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others.

5. Camera & Photos (User Choice)

The Service may request access to your device camera and/or photo library only when you choose to add an attachment (e.g., photos of assets or work). If you deny permissions, you can still use the Service, but you may not be able to add photo attachments.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes; upload malware; attempt unauthorized access; disrupt the Service; upload content that violates privacy or intellectual property rights, or is abusive/harassing; or reverse engineer/copy/resell/misuse the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there is a violation.

7. Feedback

If you provide ideas, suggestions, or bug reports (“Feedback”), you grant us the right to use Feedback without restriction or compensation to improve the Service.

8. Data Export and Deletion (Beta)

During beta, we aim to support reasonable requests for export or deletion, but export formats may be limited and deletion may take time due to backups/logs and technical constraints. Some data may persist in backups for a limited period.

If you use the Service through a Tenant, Tenant administrators may control access, retention, export, and deletion for Customer Data within that Tenant.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party providers (e.g., hosting, storage, authentication, email). Their outages or changes may affect availability of the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to USD 100, since the beta is free, unless required otherwise by law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to protect the Service, comply with law, or address misuse.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and update the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Courts in Dubai, UAE will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
